Story Behind The Deck

Herbal Tea Magic for the Modern Witch (A Practical Guide to Healing Herbs, Tea Leaf Reading, and Botanical Spells)

Herbal Tea Magic for the Modern Witch Oracle is a fully illustrated forty-card oracle deck created for Elsie Wild and published by Ulysses Press (NY). Rooted in green witchcraft and the divinatory tradition of tea magic, the deck invites readers to work with herbs and florals as tools for insight, healing, and intuitive alignment.

For this project, I illustrated the complete visual artwork for the deck, bringing each of the forty herbs to life through detailed, intentional illustration. Each card serves as both a divination tool and a visual invocation, supporting readers in crafting their own ritual “brews” for clarity, luck, emotional healing, and spiritual connection.

The result is an oracle experience that bridges ancient herbal wisdom with modern intuitive practice.
